Summary
This site is a static calculator. It has no accounts, no forms, and no server-side code, and it never asks who you are. The estimate itself is computed entirely in your browser.
It uses one third-party service: Google Analytics, to measure how the site is used. That sets cookies on your device. Details, and how to opt out, are below.
There is no advertising on this site, and no advertising code in its pages. Nothing here is trying to sell you anything or to build a profile of you for someone who is.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, email address, application number, immigration status, or any other information that identifies you. We operate no database of our own, and we cannot connect a visit to a person.
The calculation itself never leaves your device: the filing month you select is used by JavaScript running in your browser and is not sent to us. It is remembered on your device so the estimator opens on it next time (see below).
What is stored on your device
- Theme preference. If you use the light/dark toggle, your choice is saved in
your browser's local storage under the key
theme. - Filing month. If you pick a filing month on the estimator, it is saved in
your browser's local storage under the key
filingMonth, so the page opens on that month on your next visit. - Google Analytics cookies (
_ga,_ga_*), used to recognise a returning browser and measure usage. See Analytics.
Those two are the only things we store. Neither leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes both.
That is the whole list. Clearing cookies and site data in your browser removes all of it, including anything set by the advertising code this site used to carry. See Advertising.
Advertising
None. No ads are shown on any page, and as of September 2026 no advertising code is loaded either. The Google AdSense units came out in August 2026 and the AdSense script that remained after them was removed a month later, so nothing on this site now sets an advertising cookie or reports your visit to an ad network.
Until then the site did carry that script, so a cookie it set on an earlier visit may still be sitting in your browser. Clearing cookies and site data removes it. You can also review and turn off personalised advertising across Google in Google Ad Settings, or opt out more broadly at optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
If advertising ever returns, this page will say so before it does, and the date at the top will change.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use it: for example which pages are viewed, for how long, and from which country. We use this only in aggregate, to decide what to improve.
Google Analytics collects information such as:
- the pages you view on this site and when;
- approximate location, derived from your IP address;
- device, browser, screen size, and operating system;
- how you arrived here (for example a search engine or a link from another site);
- a randomly generated identifier, stored in cookies (
_gaand_ga_*), used to recognise a returning browser. It is not linked to your name or to anything you enter on this site.
Google processes this data on our behalf and, under Google Analytics 4, does not store the full IP address it receives. How long the rest is kept is set by the data-retention setting on our Google Analytics property and by Google’s own policies.
You can prevent Google Analytics entirely by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by blocking cookies for this site, or by using your browser's tracking protection. The estimator works exactly the same either way; nothing on this site depends on analytics.

Tips
The footer of each page carries a link to Ko-fi, where you can leave a voluntary tip. It is an ordinary outbound link and nothing else: no Ko-fi code runs on this site, no Ko-fi cookie is set here, and following the link is the only way any data of yours reaches them.
If you do follow it, everything you enter there, including payment details, is handled by Ko-fi and its payment processor, under their policies rather than this one. We never see or store your card details, and we receive nothing that identifies you as a visitor to this site. Tipping is entirely optional, buys nothing, and has no bearing on any application.
Server logs
This site is served as static files by Netlify, which may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and requested page for security and operational purposes. See Netlify's privacy policy for details.
Your rights
We hold no records that identify you, so there is generally nothing for us to look up, correct, or delete on request. The analytics data described above is held by Google, not by us: we see only aggregated reports and cannot isolate an individual visitor within them.
To stop that collection, use the opt-out links in the sections above, or clear and block cookies for this site. For requests about data held by Google, use Google's privacy policy.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

The estimates on this site are unofficial projections derived from published backlog snapshots. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by any government department and are not legal advice. See the methodology for how they are produced and where they fall short.

This site is run by one person, Anirudh, with no company behind it and no affiliation to IRCC. Questions about this policy, or about anything on the site, can go to webdev.anirudh@gmail.com. The contact page says more about what that inbox can and cannot help with, and asks you not to send personal application details, which we have no way to use.
